What Zaka does
Zakat calculator
Add cash, gold, silver, shares or funds, cryptocurrency, money owed to you and business stock. Subtract your debts. The nisab is calculated from today’s gold and silver prices.
Your school, your rulings
Start from the Hanafi, Shafi’i, Maliki or Hanbali position, then change single rulings where your own scholar advises something else.
Your zakat year
Set the date your year began. See the due date in both the Hijri and Gregorian calendar, and how many days are left.
Reminders and widget
Get a reminder as the date comes closer and a monthly check-in. A home screen widget shows the days left.
Payments
Record each zakat payment and see how much you have paid and how much is still to pay.
Faraid calculator
Enter the heirs, the estate, funeral costs, debts and any bequest. See each share, with the reason, and a clear note where a scholar is needed.
Private by design
Your figures stay on your phone.
There is no account, no advertising and no tracking. The only time Zaka goes online is when you ask it to fetch gold and silver prices, but you can also just fill them in yourself. You can lock the app with your phone’s screen lock, save a backup file whenever you like, and delete everything with one button. Read the privacy policy.
A calculation aid, not a fatwa
Zaka does the arithmetic and shows its working. Scholars differ on many rulings, so please confirm your result with your own scholar or imam. For inheritance, ask a qualified scholar who handles inheritance cases, and for an actual inheritance case also confirm it with the court or a lawyer.
وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا۟ لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ
“And whatever good you put forward for yourselves – you will find it with Allah.”
Surah Al-Baqarah (2:110)
