In short: Wasiyyah keeps what you enter on your own phone. The app has no internet access at all, so it cannot send anything to us or to anyone else. We have no accounts or servers that store your information, and we do not use advertising or analytics.
Who we are
Wasiyyah is published by Quiet Light Apps, an independent developer. You can reach us at support@quietlightapps.win. This policy applies to the Wasiyyah app for Android and to this website.
What stays on your phone
Everything you put into Wasiyyah is stored only in the app’s private storage on your phone: your name and address, the names of your family, executors and guardians, what you own and owe, your bequests, funeral wishes and personal words, and your settings. Some of this is very personal, financial and religious information. We cannot see any of it, and it is never sent to us.

What we do not do
- We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, photos or device identifiers.
- We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking tools.
- We do not sell or share your information, because we do not hold it.
Permissions the app asks for
- None. Wasiyyah needs no special permissions.
Wasiyyah does not ask for internet access, your location, contacts, camera, microphone or storage. When you save a file or restore a backup, you choose the place yourself using Android’s own file picker.
No widgets
Wasiyyah has no home-screen widgets, so nothing from your draft shows outside the app.
Backups
“Save a backup” creates a file in the place you choose, with your whole draft. The file is readable and not encrypted, so keep it somewhere private. Wasiyyah is excluded from Android’s automatic backup to your Google account, so the draft is never copied there.
App lock
If you turn on the app lock, Wasiyyah asks your phone to confirm your screen lock (PIN, pattern, password or fingerprint). Wasiyyah never sees or stores those details. While the lock is on, Wasiyyah hides its screen from screenshots and the recent apps view.
Deleting your data
Open Settings, then Backup and your data, then Delete all my data. You can also uninstall the app, which removes its data from your phone. Files you saved yourself stay where you put them until you delete them.
Your rights
Because Wasiyyah cannot send your entries to us, we hold no personal data from the app that we could show, correct or delete. If you contact us, we hold only what you wrote to us, and you can ask to see or delete it.
Changes to this policy
If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page, the version number and the date above before the change reaches you. Earlier versions stay available at their own address, for example /wasiyyah/privacy/v1/ for version 1.
