Anisa

Privacy policy

Version 1 · Last updated 23 October 2026

In short: Anisa keeps what you enter on your own phone. The app has no internet access at all, so it cannot send anything to us or to anyone else. We have no accounts or servers that store your information, and we do not use advertising or analytics.

Who we are

Anisa is published by Quiet Light Apps, an independent developer. You can reach us at support@quietlightapps.win. This policy applies to the Anisa app for Android and to this website.

What stays on your phone

Everything you put into Anisa is stored only in the app’s private storage on your phone: the names of the profiles you create (for example your children’s first names), the mushaf each one uses, what is memorised, the daily plan, the weak pages, the history of days with work, and your settings. We cannot see any of it, and it is never sent to us.

What we do not do

Permissions the app asks for

Anisa does not ask for internet access, your location, contacts, camera, microphone or storage. When you save or restore a backup, you choose the file yourself using Android’s own file picker.

Widgets

If you add Anisa’s widgets to your home screen, they show how much is memorised and today’s plan, each for the profile you chose when you added it. Anyone who sees your home screen can see them. Remove a widget at any time by pressing and holding it.

Backups

“Save a backup” creates a file in the place you choose, with every profile. The file is readable and not encrypted, so keep it somewhere private. Android may also include the app’s data in your phone’s own backup to your Google account if you have that backup turned on. That is controlled by your phone settings and by Google, not by us.

App lock

If you turn on the app lock, Anisa asks your phone to confirm your screen lock (PIN, pattern, password or fingerprint). Anisa never sees or stores those details. While the lock is on, Anisa hides its screen from screenshots and the recent apps view.

Deleting your data

Open Settings, then Backup and your data, then Delete all my data. To remove one profile, choose Delete under Profiles. You can also uninstall the app, which removes its data from your phone. Backup files you saved yourself stay where you put them until you delete them.

Children

Anisa can be used by parents and teachers to plan a child’s memorisation. Everything stays on the phone it is entered on; we do not collect information from anyone, including children. A child’s profile needs no more than a first name or a nickname.

Your rights

Because Anisa cannot send your entries to us, we hold no personal data from the app that we could show, correct or delete. If you contact us, we hold only what you wrote to us, and you can ask to see or delete it.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page, the version number and the date above before the change reaches you. Earlier versions stay available at their own address, for example /anisa/privacy/v1/ for version 1.
